Ingredients

3 cups of green beans

8 oz package of sliced button mushrooms

3 cups of chicken broth

10.75 oz can of cream of mushroom

2 tablespoons of butter

2 cloves of minced garlic

1/2 cup of diced onion

1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 teaspoon of salt

1/4 teaspoon of black pepper

Cooking Directions

You need to start the cooking process by preheating the oven to 350 degrees. Next, in a skillet on medium heat, you will melt the butter. Then add the onions and mushrooms to the skillet. Once the mushrooms and onions are tender, you will add the garlic, continuing to cook the medley for up to two minutes. Remove from stove and set aside for later.

In a medium saucepan, you will bring to a boil the green beans and chicken broth, cooking for 8 minutes. Drain the green beans. in a large mixing bowl, you will combine the green beans, mushroom mixture, cream of mushroom soup, Parmesan, salt, and pepper. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and top with the crispy onion strings. Place in the oven and bake for 20 minutes.
