The 2023 bZ4X has Toyota’s new e-TNGA platform which provides a stable driving experience, enhances performance, and give you a smooth ride. Standard, both the XLE model and the Limited model have an electric motor mounted on the front axle for front wheel drive. The 150-kilowatt motor outs out 201 horsepower that feels peppy when you’re driving around town and confidently revs up to highway speeds. The all-wheel drive models have a 80-kilowatt motor on both axles. Together the motors generate 214 horsepower.
Maximized Performance With X-Mode
The 2023 bZ4X’s available all-wheel drive models both come with the performance enhancing X-Mode feature. In rough driving conditions with slick roads or a winding route you can turn on X-Mode with a push of a button. Activated, X-mode will automatically adjust driving force, braking, and throttle input.

The bZ4X’s technology features start with a huge, standard 12.3-inch touchscreen display above the center console. It has a seamless design that gives the cockpit a sleek and modern vibe. The snappy and responsive system has simple and intuitive menus that are easy to navigate. The bZ4X Limited is compatible with Digital Key which give you the ability to lock, unlock, start, and stop your vehicle with your connected smartphone. Wireless device charging is standard along with wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™. Other technology features include SiriusXM® Radio and a 9-speaker JBL sound system.
